Managing Performance Using NLP .

NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming is about modelling; studying, understanding and transferring the skills of top performers in any field (Joseph O'Connor & John Seymour, Training With NLP, Thorsons 1994).

By using NLP, you will be able to enhance a regular sales or marketing activity into a focussed, energetic and strategic experience. NLP is an advanced tool used by many successful professionals in a whole range of activities. The simplicity of the tool plus its effectiveness makes it a much sought after edge of today's professionals.

NLP will serve as a tool from the many tools in a manager's toolbox when it comes to managing people and their performance. With the addition of this tool, managers will be able more in control to lead their team to the best of their abilities.

Step 1: Basic Understanding of             NLP

Participants will be given a practical approach to

understanding NLP and its presuppositions. They will also be thought how to Calibrate their Senses and VAKOG.

Step 2: Building Rapport

Participants will learn the most powerful tools in NLP which

is building rapport using the techniques of Matching &

Mirroring, Eye Accessing and Face Reading.

Step 3: Persuading & Negotiating Using NLP

Participants will learn to use the techniques of State

Elicitation, Pace & Lead, and Anchoring to effectively persuade and negotiate.

Step 4: Setting Crystal Clear Goals and Achieving It.

Participants will learn to get their personal Outcomes

crystal clear so that they will be highly motivated to achieve

them quickly. They will also learn how to do a Timeline to

anticipate future challenges and to prepare for it.

Step 5: Using NLP to Manage Performance

Participants will learn to put NLP into practical application

of managing performance, i.e. in the following areas:

• Giving Feedback

• Encouraging Feedback

• Coaching & Motivating

• Performance Appraisal

• Managing Stress
